What is Enviro-Financing?

Enviro-Financing is a Citizens Bank program which offers homeowner a means by which they can make their homes more energy-efficient and reduce their carbon footprint.  Through partner-programs with like-minded businesses, financing is offered to consumers at an extremely affordable rate.  With amortization options of up to 180 months (15 years) and market-leader competitive rates it’s no wonder we’re known as “the Bank with a conscience!” 

Why financing?

Customers don’t necessarily have the lump sum cash on hand to make improvements or make long-term investments into their homes; however they can afford monthly payments. Once they see the price reflected as a monthly payment instead of a lump sum, they see how affordable the purchase can be with a competitive interest rate and extended amortization option.

The Application process

STEP 1:  Complete the Loan Application

STEP 3:  Receive a Response

An Application Status Sheet fax will be returned to you within 2 hours of submission to advise you of the application status:

STEP 4:  It’s a yes!

An approval is your confirmation that the customer can finance their purchase up to the specified amount of the loan.

STEP 5:  Complete Funding forms

FAQ:

Is there a penalty for paying out the loan?

Aside from any interest that has accrued, there is no additional charge should the customer wish to payout the loan. They can simply call the bank to obtain the payout amount and make arrangements for payment.

What happens once the job has been funded and the customer's loan is set up?
Citizens Bank sends the customer a welcome package outlining details specific to their loan (account). Before the first payment is debited from their account, Citizens Bank also follows up with a phone call to answer any questions they may have.

$   5,000 -  9,999; P+2

$ 10,000 - 24,999; P+1.5

$ 25,000 – 34,999; P+1

$ 35,000 – 50,000; P+1 (amortization 120 months or less)

$ 35,000 - 50,000; P+1.25 (amortization 180 months)
